Vegan Sweets and Desserts

If you’re a lover of sweets and desserts, you’re probably thinking that veganism would limit your selection of various pies, cakes, candies, and chocolates. Fortunately, that is not the case!

For the cupcake enthusiasts, here’s a simple recipe on how to prepare vegan cupcakes:
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • Almond Breeze Milk Original, Unsweetened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, warmed until liquid
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
If you’re fond of oatmeal cookies like I am, check this delicious recipe out!
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup applesauce
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut (optional)
For the brownie lovers, I leave this mouth-watering recipe here for you:
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup very strongly brewed masala chai
  • 1/2 cup canola oil

Remember that these desserts are all vegan-friendly.
As of today, I am leaving behind tea, coffee, and alcohol.
